Arguably one of the best Mt. Etna types. Early, productive, cold hardy. Sets a reliable breba crop in temps down to 10F according to Herman.
Found in Takoma Park, Maryland by Kathleen who also found Kathleen's Black. Acquired from an elderly German lady in summer of 2001.
Ripens in early August to the end of September. Reported to fruit even after being winter killed to the ground. A great variety for Northeast growers.

Trees are shipped live. Occasionally, they are damaged, although this happens quite infrequently. Many times, if they are damaged, the damaged or pruned area will spur regrowth.
Please feel free to contact us about any damaged tree you may receive.
There are no returns on live trees.
We have recently updated our growing and shipping practices so please read.
Due to ever increasing shipping costs we have switched to growing in quart over gallon containers (although we still carry both) This does not limit the size of the tree as a sapling until it reaches several feet.
We are therefore able to offer more competitive shippings rates as follows:
Please choose one option at checkout.
