Cold hardy, will ripen in coller climates. Forms a very large Breba and the main crop is quite big as well. Some report the taste of this fig to be bland. A friend of mine's mother has Stella in her yard brought from Croatia and he gave me the largest tasiest figs from her tree one summer.

Trees are shipped live. Occasionally, they are damaged, although this happens quite infrequently. Many times, if they are damaged, the damaged or pruned area will spur regrowth.
